The Legend
The Legend was born and raised on the mean streets of Pasadena, California. He excelled as a multi-sport athlete in his youth—football, baseball, hockey, soccer, you name it. As a young adult, the Legend focused his superior physical gifts on basketball. His lanky, knobby-jointed, giraffe-like frame, long flowing locks, and a super soft set of hands earned him the nickname “Slim Goody” from his teammates. Slim very nearly played ABA ball in Hollywood, California in the late-1970s. Sadly, his promising career was cut short by gambling improprieties, sports betting mostly, an addiction Slim still enjoys (legally) to this day. Career pivots to sensual acting, stunt car driving, real estate development, and casual carpentry preceded an eventual move to the PNW and the opening of the Legend's namesake bar on Old Ballard Avenue. Slim Goody: a pretty OK place to watch sports.
